Stanley Deckoff

He was born in the Bronx, NY to Bernard and Mollie Deckoff.

He obtained a Bachelor’s degree from University of Arkansas and a Medical degree from NY University School of medicine. Next he did a surgical internship at Duke University and finally a residency and fellowship at Yale.

He went on to become the first Radiologist and Department Chairman at Mid Island hospital in Bethpage, NY. He spent his entire career in this respected position.

He leaves behind his son, Lee Deckoff and his wife Carol, of Dover, DE, his daughter, Bonnie Leibstein and her husband Steven, of Harbor Isle, NY, son, Dr. Jonathan Snyder and his wife Gina, of Yorktown, VA, daughter, Ellen Bregman and her husband David, of Clarksburg, NJ and daughter, Renee Molino and her husband Sal of Wantagh, NY.

Loving grandfather to Ben, Sam and Molly Deckoff, Ari, Adam, Rachel and Sophia Snyder, Zach and Justin Bregman and Dana and Alex Ratikan.
