Tom & I caddied together in the mid-1960s at Oak Ridge Country Club in Hopkins, Minnesota. He went to Benilde High School & I went to Hopkins High School, so we only saw each other during the summers for baseball, golf & caddying. He was an awesome golfer by the time he was fourteen years old.

Over the years since I first met Tom in 1986 every time I met him he put a smile on my face and motivated me to do more and be more. He will be missed by more people than you know.

I worked with Tom for many years at the PGA of America. He always had a smile and was so kind and caring. He would frequently ask about my daughter and her schooling. To the entire Galvin family, I am sorry for your loss and pray that you find peace in reflecting on happy times with him.

I worked with Tom for most of those 24 years at PGA and he was a genuine, caring individual. My sincerest condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Shocked and disappointed to learn of Tom's passing. He was a friend and an outstanding PGA Golf Professional.  Many great memories of playing and working with him in Dallas over the years. My condolences to his family and close friends.

Tom was a great professional that was very helpful to me and my career as a PGA Professional.  I thank him for helping me and then serving our great Lord in his ministry.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I am truly saddened to learn of Tom's passing. He was one of the genuine persons you meet along life's path, and wish that he could be with you every step of the way. He was a trusted friend, a hard worker, a giver, never a taker. Tom had a great sense of humor and was a top student of the game.
The game of golf was built upon relationships, and Tom was a true Master of building a bridge between himself and the game he loved. My deepest sympathy to his lovely family. We shall miss him dearly and will never forget the lives he touched.

Mr. Galvin, PGA was a true professional and friend.  I will remember him with great fondness.

Tom was truly a kind and caring gentleman.  He was a man of humility and integrity, always with a smile on his face and cheer in his voice!  I had the pleasure of working with Tom for all 24 of those years here at The PGA.  I often think about the inspirational adjectives he used when he personalized his voicemail greeting for each business day of the week.  On Mondays, his greeting ended with 'have yourself a marvelous Monday'.  On Tuesdays, a terrific Tuesday'.  Wednesdays, a 'wonderful Wednesday'.  Today would be a 'fabulous Friday'.  Well Tom, I know this is true ... today and forever you will be enjoying an ecstatic Eternity!  Thank you for the light and salt that you were while you were here ...

All of the Vozzella's are so sorry for this loss to Deberia and all the family. Poppy was one who was clear cut when it came to his loving hand to help us along.  The time he wanted me to go and just drive the cart @ PGA Gardens. He or Aaron would walk so I could go. What was so delightful was he got me to try to put. First time on a real green. Tom, my brother & friend we'll be doing that so soon.    Are love.   The Vozzella's
