A native Floridian, Sonny was born in Stuart, Florida and lived in Palm City.
Before retiring he was a Real Estate Agent.
He served in the United States Air Force and loved flying.
He is survived his wife of 25 years Anna; sons Joe Van, Robert and Charles of Stuart, FL; sisters Carol Manning of Bradenton, FL and Shirley Chason.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, January 13, 2012, 11:00 am at the Community Baptist Church, 777 SE Salerno Road in Stuart. Pastor Holland will officiate.
