Born in Yulee, Florida, Mrs. Platt had previously lived in Jacksonville, FL before relocating to the Stuart area 52 years ago.
She was a bank industry for twenty-five years.
Mrs. Platt was a member of Abundant Life Church.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Hubert “Bill” Platt of Stuart, Florida; son, Hubert “Billy” Platt Jr. (Tara) of Pinehurst, North Carolina; son, James H. Platt (Shawna) of Jensen Beach, Florida; sister, Selma Morris of Fernadina Beach, Florida; and grandchildren, Lauren, Elijah, Dalton, Jocelyn, and Elyse.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Abundant Life Ministries, 900 SE Central Parkway in Stuart at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jonathan McLean officiating.
