Virginia Redditt

Virginia was born on March 1, 1931 in Anniston, Alabama, but grew up in Decatur, Georgia. At the age of 19, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida to work for Ford Motor Company, where she met the love of her life, Bill, and married on November 26, 1952.

They moved to Stuart in 1968, where they owned and operated Bill Redditt Ford from 1968 until they sold the dealership in 1998 to enjoy retirement. Virginia enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Surviving is her devoted husband of 63 years, Bill Redditt. Also surviving are her children Stephen Arthur (Steve) Redditt (Jean) of Cleveland, Georgia, and James Franklin (Jamie) Redditt (Debbie) of Palm City, three grandchildren, Stephanie Redditt, of Denver, Colorado, Johnathan Redditt, of Palm City, Florida and Jillian Redditt of Stuart, Florida. Also surviving is her sister Mabel Wright of Marietta, Georgia, nieces Janet Stolz of Woodstock, Georgia, Jill Buck of Marietta, Georgia and Joyce Hydzik of Dallas, Georgia.

She will be missed by her family and friends who feel blessed to have been a part of her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Aycock Funeral Home, 505 South Federal Highway, Stuart FL 34994 on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorial Service to follow at 8:00pm.
