Wendy Johnson Pattison went home to be with our heavenly Lord on April 22, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1967, to Levi and Lee Johnson. Wendy graduated from South Fork High School, continued her education at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and later went on to the University of Florida to finish her degree in Agricultural Education. She worked at South Fork High School to excel as an Agriculture teacher and the Martin County Extension office.
Wendy had an outstanding passion for her students, agriculture, teaching, clogging and blue grass music. She took pride in the love she had for her church, family and God. She had a fondness for all things growing as a Master Gardener. Sharing her knowledge and endearment for livestock to others was something she greatly enjoyed. Wendy enjoyed trips to her cabin in the beautiful Georgia Mountains. She had a soaring interest in farm animals, both big and small, in 4-H and FFA. She showed gratitude by taking charge in what we call “Feed the People”, by planning and cooking for the crowd. Her voice sparkled with joy when she called for her puppies, Brodey and Blu, who had her utmost attention and care. Most of all, Wendy had an enormous love in her heart for her Howdy, or as she would refer to as, “Biggest Pain in my Butt”.
She was surely loved by so many. If you were a friend of Wendy, it was obvious that she always went out of her way to check in, make sure to reach out, help others in numerous ways and would offer the shirt off her back to anyone. She could light up any room with her goofy personality, loud tone, silly expressions and that big ole smile. She had a powerful character, constantly spreading the light of Jesus in her soul, throughout her actions and words. She was beyond generous and cared so dearly for others.
Wendy was ready to be at peace, confident in where she was going, and ready to meet her wonderful maker. Wendy, you will remain forever in our hearts.
A memorial service for Wendy will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 starting at 11AM located at the Family Worship Center, 152 85 SW Indian Mound Drive, Indiantown, FL 34956.
