William “Billy” Joseph Lester III, 64, of Stuart, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, Florida. Born on May 30, 1951 in Lakeland, FL, he was a resident of Stuart for 32 years, coming from Fort Lauderdale in 1987. Billy had served in the Florida National Guard. Billy was employed by Publix Supermarkets for 32 years. He retired as the manager of the meat department. Throughout his life Billy enjoyed sport fishing and hunting as his hobbies. Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Lynne Marie Lester; loving brothers, Mark and Steven Lester; and nieces, Melissa Lester and Erin Bramlett. He was predeceased by his parents William Joseph Lester Jr. and Mary Ann Lester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, 4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave, Palm City, FL 34990. A Celebration of Life Event will be planned for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, Stuart, Florida.
