

Born in Battery Park, Virginia, he was a permanent resident of Hobe Sound for the past 50 years coming from Battery Park.
Before retiring, he worked for 50 years as a boat builder and repairman for David Lowes Boatyard in Stuart. FL.
Mr. Lowe served in the Marine Corp during World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Port Salerno, FL and the Marine Corps League.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Joy; sons William E. Lowe, II (Delores) of Mt. Airy, NC; David King Lowe (Debbie) of Matthews, Virginia; Michael Stevens Lowe (Catherine) of Palm City FL; six grandchildren Maggie Ellis, Georgianne Lavery, Joy Lowe, David King Lowe, II , Angela Gilbride, Stephanie Lowe; and eight great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his two sisters, Annette Martin Mountjoy, Virginia Goodwin Tranham, and his brother David H. Lowe, III.
Services for Mr. Lowe will be held in Virginia at a later date.
Contributions may be made in his memory to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL.
