Born July 25, 1954 in Augusta County, she was the biological daughter of the late Catherine Clarabell (Strickler) Thompson and the daughter of the late Peggy and James Wuerzberger.
Prior to her retirement, Cathy worked as a dedicated nurse’s aide at Western State Hospital, where she cared for others with compassion and kindness. After retiring, she spent much of her time working alongside her beloved husband, John, assisting him with his business. The two shared 13 wonderful years together and were truly inseparable, building a life filled with love, partnership, and devotion.
Cathy is survived by her husband, John T. Hinson, Sr. and numerous family members.
Following cremation, a private celebration of life service will be held.
