Cecil Edward Campbell, Jr.

Surviving is his wife Cynthia Chandler Campbell of Stuarts Draft who he married August 22, 1992. He is also survived by his three children, Dana Propst of Stuarts Draft, Matthew Campbell and his wife Brooke of Grottoes, and Cassie Wyant and her husband Joey of Verona. He is also survived by two loving grandchildren, Chase and Chelsey Propst of Stuarts Draft. He also leaves behind his brothers, Kenny, Michael and Ricky Campbell and sisters, Angie Clark, Debbie Cline and Tammy Strickler. He also leaves behind his special brother-in-law, Tommy Chandler and sister-in-law, Candace Henkel.

Cecil retired from Daikin in January of 2021 after 35 years of service. He had many special friends there who he also considered as family.

Cecil enjoyed gardening, fishing and vacationing at the beach. His children and grandchildren were the joy of his life, and he enjoyed joking with them and our many special family outings and vacations. Being able to have a big family vacation last year with all the children and grandchildren was the happiest time in his life. He also loved his dogs Huey and Katie who have been his constant companions since he retired.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at White Hill Church of the Brethren, 749 Old White Hill Road, Stuarts Draft with Pastor Dave Chappell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will Allen Chandler, Cody Rowe, Christian Keith, Sharon Eye, Tony Spears, John Clevenger, Mike Kostura and Kevin Cowles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 260, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.
