Charles Woods "Charley" Flintom, II

He was born March 12, 1958 in Waynesboro. Charley was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy. He was a talented craftsman, enjoying woodworking as well as copper art. He also enjoyed playing golf.

Preceding him in death was a brother, John Michael Flintom.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra H. Flintom, whom he married August 11, 1990; father, John Henley Flintom and wife, Gail of South Carolina; mother, Cynthia Ellen Palmer and husband, Russ Harris of Williamsburg; step-daughter, Heather Farrish and husband, Kenneth Fitzgerald of Stuarts Draft; step-son, Paul Farrish and wife, Cassie of Staunton; sisters, Sara Sweeney and husband, Bob of Maryland and Rachel Smethurst and husband, Jeff of Williamsburg; brother, David Flintom of Florida; sister-in-law, Beverly Farrar and husband, Gary of Craigsville; step-grandsons, Quintin Fitzgerald, Masin Fitzgerald and Alex Farrish; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.

The funeral service and interment will be private.
