

David Milton Hall, 61, of Dodge Street passed away Monday evening at his home.
He was born April 15, 1951 in Waynesboro, son of Dorothy Hayes Hall and the late Erskine M. Hall.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James C. Hayes and Mabel Hayes Snyder, and Marcellous and Ida Tillman Hall.
David was best known for his guitar playing and his role with the Hall Brothers Band. He was a good carpenter and worked as long as he was able.
Survivors include in addition to his mother, his fiancé, Faye Benavitch and her daughters, Andrea Benavitch Wasiewski and husband Nicholas, and Kristen Benavitch; 2 sisters, Sandra Hall Hamilton of Waynesboro, Marcia Hall Clark and husband Greenville. 2 brothers, Jeffery D. Hall and fiancé Rachel Liptrap, and James E. Hall and wife Tina, all of Stuarts Draft.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Calvary United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Calvary United Methodist Church with Pastor Earl Monroe officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Jeffery and James Hall, Mike “Fly” Thompson, Ricky Allen, Lemuel Thompson, Steve Humphries and Tommy Tidd
