Over the years she served as a census enumerator, poll official, and other various positions. She and her husband ran Rivermont Grocery from 1965 until 1980 and during that time, she became the mother to the neighborhood. She knew more friends of her children than anyone in Augusta County. Mrs. Hall enjoyed crocheting afghans for every baby in the family and others, cooking for anyone who was hungry, baking, and making jelly. She wanted to thank the family, friends, and neighbors for being such good help to her whenever she needed it, especially during her last days. Stay Well. Fear Not.
