

Born February 7, 1933 in Botkins, OH she was a daughter of the late Cyril George and Sarah Hilda (Scheblo) Reier.
Eileen was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Waynesboro. She was a member of the Landlord’s Association and prior to her illness had worked as a residential landlord. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley William Knous, Sr.; sister, Judith Graham; and daughter-in-law, Kay Knous.
Survivors include her five children, Wesley W. Knous, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Waynesboro, Clifford Knous of Stuarts Draft, David Knous of Stuarts Draft, Steve Knous and wife, Judy of Covington, and Angel Knous of Fishersville; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, James Reier of St. Marys, OH; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 301 Sheppard Court, Waynesboro with Father Rolo B. Castillo officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro.
