

Buddy was born in Augusta County to Pearlee Clark and Elmer H. Clark Sr. on March 27th, 1935. Buddy will be remembered as a kind, gentle man of few words, who had a great sense of humor and loved helping others. He adored his family, especially his mother, his wife and his children. Buddy worked for GE and Genicom for over 60 years as an engineer. In his spare time, he enjoyed problem solving and fixing things, fishing, and watching his Atlanta Braves play baseball, being a talented pitcher himself.
In addition to his parents, Buddy is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Janice E. Clark; and a sister, Anna Lee Kivitt.
Buddy is survived by his daughter, Sandy Clark of Waynesboro; his son, Stephen Clark of Waynesboro, grandchildren, David Clark and Andrew Clark; as well as 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Jane Whitesell; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Gary Armentrout, Gene Kane, Larry Cohron and special friend Carolyn Williams.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, September 22nd at 2:00 PM at Calvary United Methodist Church with Pastor David Vaughan officiating. A reception will follow in the church social hall.
The family would like to thank the staff of Brookdale Senior Living in Staunton for their loving care, especially Sue Campbell, who guided the family through a difficult process.
