Eugene Samuel Bane Jr. passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on November 15, 1969, Eugene Samuel Bane Jr. was a resident of Lexington, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Eugene S. Bane Sr.
Eugene spent the last 10 years driving trucks for two different trucking companies. Before driving trucks, he was employed with Wal-Mart in Lexington.
Eugene is survived by his mother, Bessie Bane of Lexington; his cousin, Jo Ann Cash (Robert Hartless) of Lexington; an aunt, Peggy McCormick of Lexington; several cousins; and his good friend, Nina Coffey.
Per Eugene's wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted the the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
