James Franklin Whitlock

James Franklin Whitlock, 78, of Stuarts Draft passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Augusta Health. Born April 23, 1938 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Thomas Franklin and Ora Bell (Truslow) Whitlock. Mr. Whitlock was a member of Wintergreen Christian Church. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working. He was a lifetime member of the Stuarts Draft Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Vickie D. Whitlock and his son, Timothy D. Whitlock and wife, Vicky Pannell of Verona. Following cremation, there will be no formal services or viewing.
