Kenneth "Bubby" Campbell

Born July 10, 1951 in Albemarle County, he was a son of the late Raymond Campbell and Mabel (Fitzgerald) Campbell.

Bubby was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting. He could often be found outside, piddling in his garage or spending cherished time with his family. He took immense pride in helping others and never turned down an opportunity to lend a hand to a friend in need. Bubby enjoyed watching wrestling and classic westerns on television, simple pleasures that brought him joy. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the deep care he showed to his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Catherine L. Campbell; son, Kenneth “Boonie” Campbell; two stepsons, Kevin Davies and Jerry Davies; brother, Jerry Campbell; two sisters, Linda Liptrap and Janet Kelley; and some special friends.

Survivors include his loving companion of 50 years, Donna Davies; daughter, Crystal Richardson and husband, Derek, of Stuarts Draft; sister, Christine Meeks of Fishersville; stepchildren, Julia Miller and husband, Brad, Monica Snyder, Marty Davies and wife, Paula, Mickey Davies and wife, Cheryl, and Aleta Davies; three grandchildren, Natasha Grimm and husband, Junior, TJ Richardson, and Kayla Richardson and husband, Jonathan; step grandchildren, Emily Hall and husband, David, Bradley Snyder and wife, Elizabeth, Jesi Hoy, and Mickaela Davies; great-grandchildren, Raeleigh, Kanon, Michael, Olivia, Catherine and Holston; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Swartz officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Top Christian Cemetery, Love.

Active pallbearers will be TJ Richardson, Junior Grimm, Jonathan Corbin, Dale Loan, Allen Robertson, John Liptrap, and Marty Davies.
