In the last 7 years I have learned that you weren't just my father in law, you were also more of my father! You were always there for me and my little family, you showed your true love. As I told your son, you're the very best father in law I've ever had! You always supported us no matter what. You left too soon, but you are in Heaven with my mother in law and I still have the Indians she gave me. I will forever miss you especially how you always made me laugh by giving me your puckered up face, and poking me in the side. I love you, Dad!!!!

Pawpaw, you were taken much too soon. Even though I only had the privilege of calling you my Pawpaw for 7 years, I made memories with you to last a lifetime. My favorite among these are all of the conversations we had together recently, where you shared stories about your life. You never let me forget that you were proud of me. You were an outstanding man, and truly one of a kind. I will always cherish and remember the love you gave me❤️

My dearest PawPaw,

You were such a special person...so sweet, kind and generous. I miss the days when growing up, you and Granny would take me and Alisa driving around and we’d all sing songs, usually Christmas songs (even though it wasn’t Christmas). You’ll hold a very dear and special place in my heart.

Love you,
Amber aka your girl
