Louise R. Ramsey

Louise R. Ramsey, 92, passed away on December 10, 2018.
Born February 14, 1926 in Spottswood, she was the daughter of the late Dabney and Blanner Hite Ramsey.
She worked at DuPont for 40+ years and was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas and Wilford Ramsey and sisters, Mary Wallace Snead, Katherine Ramsey and Jo Ann Spitler.
Survivors include her sister, Gladys Ramsey; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Martha Ramsey; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with The Rev. Olivia Haney officiating. There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be her nephews and nephews-in-law, D.C. Ramsey, Doug Ramsey, Mark Ramsey, Tony Ramsey, Richard Powell and Charlie Wade.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rob Marsh and his staff for their care as well as the staff and residents who were family at Blue Ridge Christian Home for the love shown to Lou.
