So sorry to see this news. I am a nurse and, years ago, worked in the Cardiac Rehabilitation program at Richmond Memorial Hospital. Beth was an outpatient in that program. We all loved it when she was there! ...Such a sweet smile and I loved her laugh. My condolences to the family. She was a great lady.

What a very special lady! We became best friends in 6th grade and stayed in touch over the years. My life was enriched by her friendship and she will be greatly missed. Thanks for the pictures and those reminders of special memories. May Jesus comfort and strengthen the family. Fidelia Tolley Umberger, Columbia, SC

Evan,
Our family s so sorry to hear of your loss. Betsy and Thelma were always the organizers of their generation and Betsy will be missed as Thelma has been. I like to think of the two of them sitting under a shady tree, drinking iced tea, and laughing together. You are in our thoughts. Dana Fox Jenkins on behalf of Dorothy Jarvis Fox and family

I am so sorry for your loss. Beth was an amazing educator and friend. I taught with Beth for the first ten years of my career. I learned so much from observing her interactions with her students. She always put their needs first. She taught me to look for the unique goodness in every child. She deeply touched the lives of those who knew her. May you rest in peace, Beth. Much love to Evan and the family.
