He was born May 28, 1971, a son of Larry Denton and Carolyn Virginia (Shifflett) Meadows.
Michael was a painter by trade.
He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Timmy. Survivors include sons, David and wife Ashleigh of Sherando, Jacob of Harrisonburg, and Isaiah of Waynesboro; brothers, Denny and Brian both of Sherando and a sister, Debbie and husband Barry of Grottoes along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike enjoyed fishing, was an avid reader, listening to old rock n roll tunes, and spending time with his boys.
He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date by family.
