Nancy R. Kelley

Nancy Robinson Kelley, 81, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on September 3, 1931, in Albemarle County, daughter of the late Jacob and Florence Robinson Moyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher C. Conner; and three sisters; and four brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Kelley was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family, going to the beach, watching birds and attending to her flowers. She loved to walk in the mall with her friends. Survivors include her husband, Louis Kelley; two sons, Lester N. Kelley and wife, Linda, of Waynesboro, and Kenney P. Kelley and wife, Dianne, of Front Royal; two daughters, Gwen Conner and friend, Dave Legge of Staunton, Becki Roetto and husband, Dwight, of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Cory Conner, Renee Corbin, Heather Anderson and Ben Kelley; great-grandchilden, Amy, Abby and Maddy Conner, Noah, Ainsley and Elley Corbin. A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with the Reverend George Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Cory Conner, Ben Kelley, Dustin Corbin, Hal and Gary Tibbs and Dave Legge. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to a fellowship meal at Mt. Vernon Church of the Brethren, 90 Mt. Vernon Road, following the graveside service.
