Patricia Gail Drawbond

She was born July 1, 1947 in Princeton, West Virginia to the late Earl Russell Horne and Edith Marie (Jones) Horne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lowell Grove; brother Robert A. Horne and a sister-in-law, Linda Horne.

Survivors include her husband, John P. Drawbond; sons, Robert Campbell, Chris Campbell (Terri); brother, Barry L. Horne (Renate), Earl Russell Horne, Jr.; grandchildren, Haley Campbell, Anna Campbell, Ethan Campbell; nieces, Courtney Pacelli, Erica Horne and a nephew, Daniel Horne.

She retired from The Cheese Shop in 2010 and was previously employed by General Electric and supervised the volunteers at the Waynesboro Community Hospital Hospitality Shoppe.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care given to Patricia by the staff at Brookdale Senior Living and Legacy Hospice Care of Fishersville, Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church, 901 Shenandoah Avenue, Waynesboro, Virginia by her Pastor and friend, Rev. Dr. Paul LaPrevotte.
