She was born on October 11, 1945, the daughter of the late Roy Cline and Mary Zimmerman Adkins. She was employed at Donuts Delight, until she was diagnosed with ALS in November 2009.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest son, Tony Carr.
Survivors include her children, Scott Carr of Stuarts Draft and Sherry Carr of North Carolina; grandchildren, Micheal Carr of Stuarts Draft, Morgan Johnson of North Caroline, Scotti Carr of Waynesboro, and Amber Carr of Waynesboro; Great grandchildren, Alexis Carr and Ella Grace Carr.
Pastor Dennis Bradley of Stuarts Draft will be providing a memorial service at the residence, 91 Yoder Circle, Stuarts Draft, on Thursday evening, May 19, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. The family will also be receiving friends, at the residence. Casual dress is appropriate.
