Ronnie Allen Harris

Born April 13, 1943, in Stuarts Draft, he was the son of the late Russell A. and Louise C. (Coffey) Harris.

Mr. Harris was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and in his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include sister, Dorothy Harris Burford and husband Thomas of Stuarts Draft; brother, Donnie Lee Harris and wife Becky of Greenville; nephews, Douglas and Dale Burford of Stuarts Draft and David Burford of Fishersville; Niece, Lori Adams of Greenville; 7 great nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; as well as special friends, Roy and Linda Shifflett, Patty Davis and Sue Williams.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery with Charles Ramsey officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Austin Burford, Kent Burford, Roy Shifflett, Ronnie Davis, Bobby Killingsworth, Bobby Sorrells and Danny Myrtle.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverheads Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 39, Mint Springs, Virginia 24463.
