She was born in Summit, N.J. on November 15, 1964 and grew up in Elizabeth, N.J. and resided in Jackson, N.J. before moving to Greenville, Va in 2022.
She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon Gamba, her father Bruce and her brother Brett.
Tara loved history, the outdoors and her animals. She was an avid book reader, loved antiquing and her grandchildren were the joy of her life.
Survivors include her husband John of 42 years; son John J. and daughter-in-law Cori; grandsons Jackson and Bennett; son Connor; sisters Cathy and Denise and her step father James Gamba.
Following cremation a memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick is in charge of her arrangements.
