Carol Ellen (Waldman) Shea, 68, of Maynard, MA, passed away with her family by her side on November 4, 2025 after a brave battle with colon cancer. Born on October 5, 1957 and raised in Newton, MA, Carol was the beloved wife of Tim and mom of Danielle and Stephanie.
She graduated from Wesleyan University where she studied Math and Economics. She had a deep passion for helping others, and was the first to lend her mind (or her husband’s hands) for any problem that needed solving. She was a fierce advocate and unwavering support for her friends, family, and anyone navigating obstacles in education and healthcare.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tim, her daughters Danielle and Stephanie (husband, Andrew), her brothers Neal (wife, Julie) and David (wife, Cheryl), her nieces (3) and nephew (1), her best friend Veronica, and many other family and friends.
