Catherine Ellen Daley

Kay was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Lynch) Kittredge. She was a resident of Framingham for over 30 years before moving to Marlborough in 2007.

Kay worked at Sun Life in Wellesley for over 20 years where she met many lifelong friends. She was a Senior Employment Specialist in Human Resources before retiring.

In retirement Kay enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and volunteering at St. Patrick’s Manor. After moving to Marlborough she spent time with friends in some of her favorite activities including bocci, book club, bingo, lunch outings and wine and cheese gatherings.

Kay leaves her children, Dan Daley and his wife Kathy of Haverhill, Ellen Daley and her husband Ted Baker of Lenox, Maureen Giffin of Charlotte NC, Tricia Peck and her husband Tom of Milford. Six grandchildren, Jenn, Corey, Caitlin, Lisa, Liz and predeceased by Megan; six great grandchildren, Will, Ben, Aidan, Ollie, Magnolia and Penelope. She is predeceased by her brothers Gene and Edward Kittredge and her lifelong friend, Mary Hullinger.

Visiting hours and funeral service will take place at Duckett Funeral Home, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury from 10am-11:30am on Friday, May 2nd. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery in Framingham.

The family gives special thanks to Marisa, Sonia, Roseli, Rosangela and many others along the way for their kind and loving caregiving.
