
Charles, more commonly known as “Chuck”, was born in Cambridge on November 18, 1948, son of the late Charles W. and Janet W. (Hall) Maxwell. He was raised in Belmont and graduated from Belmont High School with the class of 1966. He studied liberal arts at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH, and graduated in 1970. He then furthered his studies earning an MBA at Babson in 1977, as well as an MST at Bentley in 1981.
Mr. Maxwell was a resident of Marlborough for six years before settling in Framingham with his family in 1976. He worked as a Corporate Controller for NRC, Inc and HC Stark in Newton for twenty-five years. He then worked for the former Polyfibron Technologies in Billerica for five years and traveled to many parts of the world including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Australia, Mexico, France, Germany and New Zealand during his career. More recently, Mr. Maxwell owned and operated Chasnor Consulting in Framingham until his retirement in 2004. Upon retiring, he spent his time traveling the United States with his beloved wife, Norma R. (McNeill) Maxwell, with whom he enjoyed forty-one years of marriage.
Chuck was the loving and devoted father of Kimberly Maxwell of Cambridge, MA, and Todd Maxwell of St. Pete Beach, FL, with both of whom he solidified everlasting friendships in his later years. He leaves his sisters, Pamela Maxwell of Belmont, and Deborah “Debbie” Martorilli of Waltham; also nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 3:00pm - 7:00 Pm at the Duckett-Waterman Funeral Home, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Charles River Center, 59 East Militia Heights Road, Needham, MA 02492.
