She is survived by her daughter Wendy Adam of Concord and beloved and adored grandchildren, Caroline and Aiden. She was predeceased by her husband Charles A. Adam, her daughter Amy Elizabeth Adam and her older sister Anne Riley. She is also survived by sister Karen Silva and brother Herbert Silva as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
Donna had a 25-year career at IBM followed by many years at the Town of Lincoln and most recently working as a legal administrative assistant. Although she led a quiet life, if you were blessed to be in her circle she loved hard and passionately; always ensuring to send handwritten birthday cards and holiday cards to those she loved. She wore many titles proudly throughout her life: Daughter, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Girl Scout Leader, Mrs. A to her beloved “girls.” However, the proudest title of her life was “Mimi” to her treasured grandchildren Caroline and Aiden; she spent countless hours with her grandbabies always putting them before anything else.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Amy Elizabeth Adam Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o the Wayland High School Scholarship Committee, PO Box 36, Wayland MA 01778.
A Visitation will be held at Duckett Funeral Home, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery, 25 Glenwood Street, Natick MA 01760.
