
Edna Mae Cotton, a resident of Natick since 1951, passed away peacefully while napping on Sunday, November 4, 2012. She was 97 and the wife of the late Kenneth Cotton. Born in Boston August 6, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Berkeley and Minnie Hunt Webber. Mrs. Cotton was a homemaker and especially enjoyed gardening. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing and was a member of the Goldenaires. She was also a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Wayland and the UMW Church Group as well as the Natick Senior Citizens. Mrs. Cotton was greatly loved by her family and is survived by her daughter and son in law, Virginia Mae and David Michael Hession of Natick; her granddaughter, Kimberly LeBlanc and her husband, Louis, of Natick; her granddaughter, Cara Pound and her husband, Jason, of West Newton; and her grandson, David Michael Hession, Jr., of Framingham. Additional survivors are her great grandchildren, Emma and Caeden LeBlanc and Ava Pound. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 10, at Community United Methodist Church, 5 Damon Street, Wayland at 11:00 am. The Reverend Bruce Pehrson, Pastor, will officiate. Private burial will take place at Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
