He was born August 15, 1929 in Cambridge MA. He was married to the late Frances (Cooney) Connors for 61 years. He was the son of the late Edward and Rita (Hayes) Connors.
Ed is survived by his children, Maureen Connors of Wayne, PA, Barbara O’Brien and her husband Curtis of Marlborough, MA, Edward Connors and his wife Jennifer of Brownsville, VT, Brian Connors and his wife, Patricia of Newtown, PA, Sean Connors and his wife Patricia of Natick, MA, Paul Connors and his wife Kelly of Phoenixville, PA, Margaret Connors of West Chester, PA, Timothy Connors and his wife Denise of Colorado Springs, CO and David Connors and his wife Leanne of Sandy Hook, CT and eighteen grandchildren. His sister, Marie Modic of Moorestown, NJ and many nieces and nephews survive him.
His beloved brother John Marston (Jack) predeceased him.
Funeral Mass to be held Thursday February 15 at 9AM at Our Lady of Fatima, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA. All guests are invited to meet directly at the church.
Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Sudbury.

Ed spent much of his early life in Boston. Ed was a Korean War Veteran and attended Tufts University. After marrying his wife Frances (Nancy) Cooney they moved to Sudbury where they lived for 55 years and raised 9 children.
As a student in Civil Engineering at Tufts, Ed was recruited to work at the Rand Corporation and was an early innovator in missile defense computer programming. Due to his talent with defense systems Ed was selected to a team that worked on the original North America Radar Defense (NORAD) system in Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado.
Ed was active in Sudbury Town Politics and was a long time member of the Sudbury Planning Board. As a member of the planning board he advocated strongly for the expansion and construction of walkways throughout Town. Ed served as Sudbury Town Constable; was founding contributor to Sudbury Youth Soccer; coached numerous Little League Baseball teams; was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish where he served as a member of the Knights of Columbus. Upon his retirement, he traveled extensively with his wife, taking cruises and trips to Russia, China and around the world.
Ed will be remembered for his mischievous sense of humor and gentle smile. His children always knew that he would be there for him no matter what he was a consistent and caring presence in all of their lives. He will be missed.
