When we were near CapeD'or Nova Scotia with the Boston Mineral Club and arrived at the massive rows of round rocks that completely covered the stretching beach, and Ed walked briskly and confidently with a big back pack full of tools--but room for minerals--and his rebuilt ankles from a former fall I was truly amazed! He was a tough guy with a gentle heart!

My condolences to all.  I worked with Ed at Camex.  He was a good guy and a dedicated hard worker and family man.  Once I got to know him outside the office, I was able to appreciate the rest of the man.  Although we met rarely, his warmth, curiosity and humor would always leave me looking forward to the next time we could set a spell…bon voyage, friend!

My deepest condolences to the Norton family, Ed was a great neighbor and I only wish I got to get to know him better, I'm sorry I missed the services.

Dear Jess,
I'm so sorry for your loss.  I only met your dad once but I recall you saying on numerous occasions how good of a man he was.  He will be missed.  I've been praying for you and Hannah during this difficult time.

I worked with Ed at Sun.  I can still picture him sitting at his desk, headset on, assisting the customer in a rather loud less than pc way, and ending up with the customer's eternal thanks.   May all the memories bring you comfort.

My condolences to the Norton family.  I worked with Ed at Sun Microsystems.  He was always a pleasure to work with.  He was very helpful and open to assisting in troubleshooting some of the most difficult problems.  His arms were always open to help.  It is rare to run into individuals who are determined and motivated to help others.  His smile and openness will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Norton family.  I knew Ed through work and he was always helpful and kind.  May his strength over the last few years help you find peace.

I am the former Jeanne Kelley, whose late father worked with Edward's father. Many a time, as a child, my dad and I would visit the Norton home,
 or farm.  It was the first time I ever had "goat's milk," which sadly I did not enjoy, but still an enjoyable memory. I am so, so very sorry to hear of Edward's passing, and I pray that God will give peace and comfort to his love ones during this most difficult time.

Dear Jess and Family,
Your Dad was everything we admire in a man.  He was kind, loving, giving and a good friend.  We will miss his laugh and the way he told stories of his rock hounding.  He will be missed by anyone that knew him. God Bless You!
