

She was born on March 11, 1929 in Meriden, Connecticut to the late Harold and Margaret (Anderson) Falk where she lived and attended local schools, graduating from Meriden High School. Following her graduation from Laurel College in Meriden in 1947, she worked for two
years as the executive secretary to the president of the college, Anna Kraemer. She was selected to serve as the executive secretary for three of Meriden’s former mayors: William J.Cahill, Henry Altobello and William T. Shea.
In 1969, she moved to Sudbury, MA. During a sixteen year career at Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard, she had been an executive secretary and later a project specialist, retiring in 1992. Subsequent to her retirement from DEC, she worked as the executive secretary to the president of Silver Lake Dodge in Wellesley, MA and as the executive assistant to the owner of Allison Financial Group in Sudbury, MA.
Evelyn spent nine years working with local children as a member of the staff at Sudbury Extended Day. While there, she spearheaded a voluntary community service project where the afterschool program students made stuffed bears by hand that were later distributed to local area hospitals, seniors and area shelters for abused mothers and children. Evelyn was very talented and skilled in many of the needle arts, especially sewing, knitting, crewel and needlepoint. She was a fabulous cook and an extraordinary baker.
In addition to her husband Clarence, she is survived by her daughter, Wendi Rocheleau and her husband, Paul, of Southington, CT; her son, James Innocent of Sudbury, MA and her grandchildren Christopher Rocheleau and his fiancé Holliston Langendorfer of Glendale, AZ and
Elizabeth Rocheleau and her fiancé Kyle Moore of Denver, CO. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert H. Falk and William E. Falk.
Calling hours will be Sunday, October 1st from 2-4 p.m. followed by a brief memorial service at Duckett – J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road (Route 20), Sudbury.
