Frank S. Wagner III, 77, passed away on October 29, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1948 to Frank S. Wagner II and Helen (Schwartz) Wagner.
Frank earned his Doctorate in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Illinois in 1975. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in 1970. He prided himself in his work and spent 45 years as Technical Director at Strem Chemicals in Newburyport, MA.
Frank was passionate about travel, and in his later years visited all seven continents with his wife. He thoroughly enjoyed photographing beautiful landscapes as well as interesting wildlife found in various parts of the world.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife Jacquie, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage in 2025. He is also survived by his children: Jess and his wife Trish, and Jeremy; along with grandchildren Emma and Ryan. Additionally, he is survived by siblings David, Daniel, Diane and Marsha, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.
