Frederick Schiller

Frederick J.,Schiller of Sudbury, July 25, 2011. Beloved husband of Christine (Bayley). Devoted father of Carl Frederick Schiller of Ashland and the late Edward George Schiller. Also survived by his daughter in law, Meredith Ann Schiller and his grandchildren; Lillian, Sarah and Kyle Schiller of Ashland. Mr. Schiller came to the United States as a young boy and was raised and educated in New York. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and New York Community College with an AAS Degree in Mechanical Technology. He served with the U.S.Army during the Korean War and was employed as a Mechanical Engineer with Raytheon for 27 years; retiring in 1993. Mr. Schiller was an avid reader; enjoyed golf; and was especially devoted to his family. There will be a memorial service Saturday, July 30, at 2:00 o’clock at the Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Rt. 27, Sudbury Center. Interment will be in Wadsworth Cemetery, Sudbury. The family has suggested that rather than flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Schiller be directed to Lincoln-Sudbury Scholarship Fund, c/o Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, 390 Lincoln Rd., Sudbury, MA 01776 (Please note “Ed Schiller scholarship fund on the memo line).
