Mr. Grant was born October 28, 1924 in Roanoke, VA, the son of George W. and Madeline (Kidd) Grant. He served in the United States Army during World War II and completed high school upon his honorable discharge. Mr. Grant worked as an Engineer for Raytheon Corp. for 42 years. He loved his profession and specialized in engineering missiles until his retirement in the late 1990s.
Mr. Grant was a proud member of the Sudbury Historical Society and the Waltham Watch Society. He was creative and artistic with an interest in clocks and watches. Mr. Grant enjoyed listening to classical music and working with stones and bricks.
He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Marie Wall Grant and is also survived by extended family members.
Private funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, at the Duckett-J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute followed by interment at New North Cemetery, Sudbury.
