Hazel M. Hicks

Hazel M. Hicks, of Leominster, MA, formerly of Sudbury, MA passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 97. She was born in Nova Scotia on March 18, 1928 to Resther Methurin Comeau and Marie Rose (LeBlanc).

She attended school at Newton High School where she graduated in 1946. She then went to Lasalle Junior College in Newton where she received her associate’s degree. Hazel worked as a Supervisor for Raytheon for 42 years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her cherished husband John B. Hicks, her beloved children Brian and Brenda Hicks; her sister, Cecille Hicks and her great great-grandchild Israel.

Hazel is survived by her loving daughter, Cheryl Muhummad (Abdullah) of Leominster; her grandchildren Heather, Heidi, Hilary, and Holly; great grandchildren Nicholas, Annand, Laura, Brittany, Brianna, Odelle, Olivia, Phadra, Cheo, Ozier, Damare, Cohen, Chistopher, Kyle; her great, great-grandchildren, Colby, Nina, Noah, Tristan and Romeo; her sisters Alice Hayes and Ann Candrilli.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home, Duckett – J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776 on Saturday October 25th, 2025 from 10AM – 11AM.

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11AM. Interment will follow at Old Town Cemetery, Sudbury.
