Helen Ericksen

She graduated from St. Peter’s High School in New Brunswick, NJ in 1955 and worked at a nearby penny candy counter after school during her junior and senior years. She worked at NJ Bell Telephone Company as a typist and married Daniel E. Ericksen in September 1957. They moved to the Sunset Lake area of Bridgewater, NJ where she volunteered at the Hamilton Elementary School. She was later a bookkeeper for MXI Transportation in Princeton, NJ.

Helen was passionate about children, books and nature. She was a devoted daughter, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Frances C. Herbst, and brother Walter V. Lester; her ex-spouse Daniel E. Ericksen.

Helen is survived by her beloved daughter, Sharon Ericksen, formerly of Sudbury, MA and her grandchildren Jacob and Ross Erman, both of Boston, MA, and her nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home, Duckett – J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA on Thursday January 2nd 2025 at 11AM. A visitation will precede the service in the home from 10-11AM.
