

Jean Marie Lynch, formerly of Sudbury, Massachusetts, entered eternal happiness with God on January 21, 2012 after a great life on earth. Jean was born on May 3, 1922 in Reading, Massachusetts to the late Marie “Nan” and Leonard Gates Nichols. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late John Lynch. She was a wonderful mother to many. She had eight children, including two beautiful daughters, Christine “Kik” Lynch of Massachusetts and the late Bridget Lynch, and six mischievous and loving sons, Peter (Madeline) Lynch of Florida, John (Julia) Lynch of Illinois, Brian (Robin) Lynch of Connecticut, Thomas (Laurie) Lynch of Pennsylvania, Michael (Heather)Lynch of Maine, and Terrence (Maureen) Lynch of Massachusetts. She is survived by 19 grandchildren, who she set an example to of selfless service, love of God and wearing a smile, including Brent, Brooke, Mathew, Frannie, Andrew, Amy, Nathan, Bridget, Meghan, Annie, Kelly, Michael, Jonathan, Grace, Angela, Emma, Luke, Zachary, and Aiden. Her grace, laughter and care for others was always felt by her many friends and neighbors. As her surviving daughter and best friend, Kik, says “she is now in heaven, with her full sight and voice, cheering us on to a great life in the presence of God”. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 28, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Rd., Sudbury with interment to follow at St. Stevens Cemetery, Framingham. Visitation will be held at Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd., Rt. 20, Sudbury, Friday, Jan. 27, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
