We first met Jeanne and Mark and David in the early 90's as we became their neighbors in Sudbury. Jeanne reached out to us first and ever since our family has been blessed with their friendship. My two boys played with David and Marilee and I have enjoyed Mark and Jeanne's generosity, enjoying sailing and going to a concert or two. During covid I remember delivering something to their home and coming to their back door and Jeanne was there to great me with her mask on and a heart sign she made with her hands. She had a nice  vegetable garden out back and a bird bath that invited the many colorful birds to refresh themselves. Mark took advantage of this, and I'm sure many of us got Holiday cards with a beautiful bird on its cover. Jeanne always had a beautiful smile and a true interest in what you had to say, she listened, she cared and she loved. What a great example of these qualities. They all have spilled beautifully onto her family. She leaves behind a simple yet powerful legacy and probably the most important is Love.

One of my earliest memories is walking over to trick or treat at Jean's house with my brother. She welcomed us in with a smile and toys, and we ended up spending the whole evening happily with her. She was such a warm and giving woman, she felt like family. Her love and intellect continues to inspire me, I will miss her dearly

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jeanne’s passing.
Having been lucky enough to know her since our children were small,  I always held  a warm feeling in my heart for her. Jeanne’s kindness, humor and appealing personality will be greatly missed.

I've been blessed to have known Jeanne for 50 years.  My husband Walt was Mark's college roommate at WPI . 

When Mark met and fell in love with Jeanne – we were so happy for both of them.  They were married under sail on the good ship Bandersnatch.  The bride wore white “foul weather gear.” It was the beging of a wonderful life together. 

We shared years of adventures with Mark & Jeanne … on boats, at cottages and with airplanes.  I always respected her kindness and her common sense. She will be sincerely missed.

Jeanne and I discovered how much we had in common in our freshman year at Cedar Crest. She was so kind to me when I came down with the dreaded Mono at the end of that school year.  Both of us were enthusiastic El. Ed. and French majors. Jeanne received the Student Teaching Award at graduation, and later she ended up using her talent and her desire for further education to carve out a wonderful, meaningful career. Her knowledge and ability to impart the results of her studies to other educators had an impact on many children. Jeanne was a dear and caring friend, and the love in her heart smiled on many.

Jeanne and I were classmates at Cedar Crest. I'm sad to learn of her death and offer you my sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear wife and mother. She was a lovely person, and I feel grateful for having known her. May her memory be a blessing ♥️
