John P. Eustis II (Jack) of Duxbury, died peacefully in his home on August 27,2014. He was 92 years old. Jack had been a resident of "The Village at Duxbury" for 11 years. Prior to that, he lived in Falmouth, Massachusetts, and raised his family in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Jack had a wonderful sense of humor and love of others. He considered the raising of his family his greatest achievement. He had a remarkable ability to care for others.
Jack was a photographer in the US Army Air Force Division during World War II. He spent most of his career in sales, and was Vice President and partner of General Microfilm Company in Cambridge, Mass. He was active in his church and civic activities He was particularly proud of his membership in Masons, and his role on the Board of Directors of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Jack was predeceased by 3 wonderful wives: Isabel Wales Eustis, Nancy Schirmer Eustis, and Elizabeth Jane Sanger; his companion Francis Churchill; and by his son, Grant Warner Eustis. He is survived by seven children: Pamela Putnam of Lutz, Fl; Lee Cohen of Putney, Vt; Janet Eustis of Naples, Florida; Judith Meddoun of Rabat, Morocco; Gary Schirmer of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, Philip Schirmer of Sargentville, Maine; and Isabel (Lee) Schilling or Rochester, Massachusetts; and 15 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
