I drove John to his dialysis treatment in Plymouth for a long time. I enjoyed taking him as he was such a gentleman. We would talk all the way. He never complained about what was happening to him. I feel he must be in heaven with Barbara. Rest in peace John.

When Dad got an idea in his head, he would get a big bulldog on it! This day, he really wanted to go in a canoe and, as you can see, despite Mom's concern, he did it! Thanks, Kirk, for making the birthday boy's wish come true!

My memory of John and Barbara is meeting them after Mass on Sunday at Our Lady of Fatima. They were so pleasant and proud of their grandchildren.
For many years after I left Our Lady of Fatima we kept in touch at Christmas.
Ed and Elisa, know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have some nice memories of visiting Ed's parents in Queens, and trying yellow watermelon for the first time. :)

I'm very sorry for your double loss, and heartened at the thought that they're back together again.

Dad had grown so much in grace and gratitude in the years of his medical challenges. We thought of him as a cat with so many lives... In the past few months, likely with Mom’s intercession, he even grew in patience! After learning of Mom’s terminal diagnosis last September, he said “ we have to flow with the wave.”
May Dad and Mom flow eternally in the waves of Jesus’ love and peace.
With much love and gratitude for raising a most wonderful son whom I am so blessed to call my husband,
Elisa
