

Josephine A. (Magliozzi) Ferrari passed away Saturday August 25, 2012 at Wayside Hospice in Wayland. She leaves two children, Donna S. Ferrari of Natick, Carol A. Ferrari and her husband Thomas J. Murray of Byfield; four grandchildren, Paul Ferrari of Roslyn, NY, Andrew, Sarah and Christopher Murray of Byfield; two great grandchildren, Jaden and Paul Angelo Ferrari; siblings, Louise Buse of Longmeadow, Robert Magliozzi of Wellesley; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Josephine is also survived by two brothers in-law. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald G. Ferrari, her daughter, Lynn D. Ferrari; and by siblings, Emira Meloni and Sue D’Alessandro. Josephine loved her work as a library aide for the Wellesley schools. She was an aide for twenty years and upon her retirement volunteered often at the Wellesley Free Library. She was a communicant of St. Paul Church and a former member of St. James the Great Church in Wellesley. Mrs. Ferrari enjoyed being a homemaker and was an avid gardener who took great pride in caring for her family, home and garden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday August 29, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul Church, 502 Washington Street, Wellesley. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Parmenter Wayside Hospice: Hospice Residence, Parlin House, 10 Green Way, Wayland, MA 01778.
