Judith A. Otis, 86, of Concord, MA, formerly of Framingham and Sudbury, Ma. passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln after a long battle with cancer. Born in Bangor, Me. August 25, 1933, she was the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Grindle) Phillips. She graduated as an honor student from Bangor High School and the University of Maine where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She met her husband, William F. Otis Jr., at the university and they married on June 4, 1954.

She is survived by her son John Otis & husband Roberto Marin of Revere, MA, her son Jeff Otis & wife Stephanie of Littleton, MA, and her son David Otis & wife Lauren of Sudbury, MA; Cherished grandmother of Carly Otis of Littleton, MA, Marcus Otis of Wakefield, MA, and Brandon Elkind-Hill of Sudbury, MA. She also leaves a nephew, Brad Otis, of Winchester, MA and a niece Alison, of McLean, VA as well as a sister-in-law, Peggy Otis of Winchester, MA. In addition to her parents, Judith was predeceased by her brother, David Phillips of Astoria, Oregon, and husband William.

Judith’s occupations included: grade school teacher, bank teller and secretary for the Wayland Public Schools and Raytheon Company. Judith was a nature lover who enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed playing the piano & attending concerts at Boston Symphony Hall & Tanglewood. She was also an avid sports fan, who particularly enjoyed rooting for all New England sport teams. She loved the outdoors, playing tennis, biking, hiking, & skiing. She also loved travelling & visiting family. She was well loved by the community at Newbury Court where she last resided.
