Kathleen A. (Kannar) Murphy, 64, of Framingham, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 28, 2017. Born in Framingham on September 9, 1952, she was the daughter of Robert C. and Iris M. (Edge) Kannar. She was a resident of Framingham nearly all of her life and worked as a bartender for over twenty years until her retirement. Beloved wife of Benson B. "Ben" Murphy; devoted mother of Victor B. Mansfield and his wife Elizabeth of Lunenburg, Laura M. Curtis and her husband Jonathan of Old Lyme, CT; loving sister of Joyce M. Horne and her husband Joseph of Medway; sister-in-law of Darrell L. Murphy and his wife Kimberly; daughter-in-law of Olive Harvell of Wayland; proud grandmother of Taylor and Reilly Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11AM at the Duckett-J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd (Route 20), Sudbury. Interment will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery in Framingham. Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 31 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
