Lea Gleason Daley

Wife of Paul E. Daley; devoted mother of Kristina Daley; and the much loved grandmother of Dustin and Amelia. Lea was the daughter of the late John and Norma Fitzgerald of Belmont. She was the loving sister of John Fitzgerald and his wife Peggy St. Clair of Wellesley. Joan Fitzgerald of Hyde Park, VT., Maura Fitzgerald of Winthrop, Kevin Fitzgerald and his wife Carla of Hyde Park, VT. She is also survived by six loving nieces; Micaela of Portland, ME, Paige of San Francisco, CA, MacKenzie of Boston, Reid of Philladelphia, PA, Quinn of Washington D.C. , and Elisabeth of Hyde Park, Vt.

Lea grew up in Belmont and was a graduate of the Belmont Day School, Belmont High School and Forsythe Dental School with a degree from Northeastern University. Lea was a lover of animals and was a very caring and loyal friend to all who knew her.

Funeral Saturday, Jan.10th from the Duckett – J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd. (Rt. 20) SUDBURY at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Rd., Sudbury at 11 o’clock. Entombment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Jan. 9th from 4-8 PM at the funeral home, relatives and friends kindly invited.
