Margaret Alice Shurling

Margaret Alice (Lombardi) Shurling "Margaret “Peggy” Shurling passed away on Wednesday April 30, 2025. She was born on November 25, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts to Nicholas C. Lombardi and Margaret I. (French) Lombardi. Peggy grew up and spent her life living in Sudbury, Massachusetts, where she and her husband raised their two children. Peggy was a 1966 Graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury High School. She married her high school sweetheart Wayne M. Shurling, and they were married for 57 years. Peggy was a dental assistant and office manager for several offices in Sudbury and then Concord over the span of her career. Family was the most important thing to Peggy. She is survived by her devoted husband Wayne, her daughter Kimberly (Peter) Pilot, her son Wayne (Pamela) Shurling, and her three adored grandchildren: Nicholas Shurling, Connor Shurling and Lauren Shurling. She is also survived by her sister Barbara (Stephen) Giovinelli, her brother James (Lisa) Lombardi, a niece, three nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Peggy was a profoundly caring and loving woman who undoubtedly touched the lives of many in her lifetime. She will be missed dearly. Services will be private.
