I had the pleasure of cutting Mikes hair for the past 27 years. He was indeed a lovely man who cared so deeply for his wife and family. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of the loss of a great father, husband and friend of all. The Faherty family, my Dad, met Mike very early after immigrating to the Boston area in late 1958. My Dad and Mike became best of friends and were teammates on many great Galway hurling teams. Our families grew up together as they both married and had children. Mike would be a second coach on athletics to my brother, Sean, and I from his goaltender position in hurling. Mike and Anne came to my Dad’s 80th B’day Party last summer and good laughter and jokes were shared. So sorry to hear of his passing. Great thoughts were shared with Dad tonight in discussing his friendship with Mike and Anne. God bless the family in these trying times. Your Dad was one of the best!

Dear Anne,

Evelyn and I want to tell you how sincerely sorry we are for your loss. We have fond memories of "after golf" conversations with Mike and you and he would often make us smile with his wonderful Irish sense of humor. Fly with the angels Mike. God Bless you Anne.
